| background information on this organisation |
Drugsline provides a comprehensive range of services for those struggling with addiction as well as offering free, impartial support and information to concerned family and friends. Since its foundation in 1991, Drugsline has reached many thousands of people and has expanded its services to include education, counselling and support. Drugsline sees the importance of preventative education and places great emphasis on drugs and alcohol awareness education. A major part of our work is a unique schools outreach education programme, openly discussing the reality of addiction and drug abuse with young people and teenagers. We operate a freephone crisis & support line and drop-in centre as the first point of contact. Drugsline’s team of outreach educators, qualified professional counsellors and trained volunteers are dedicated to providing services of the highest quality. Drugsline works with the Redbridge Drug and Alcohol Action Team. Registered Charity Number 1067573 |
